Interoperability

One of the requirements to operate and that will give continuity to this business is the interoperability of data, which is why we want to tell you what our quality standard is in Gestiona Salud.

  • HL7 v2 is a messaging standard based on the EDI format for the exchange of messages between computerized health information systems. The latest versions include messaging in XML format.
  • HL7 v3 is a messaging standard based on the HL7 Reference Informative Model (RIM) and the XML format. HL7 v3 messages are divided into domains such as accounting and billing, healthcare, claims and reimbursement, clinical decision support, clinical document architecture, clinical genomics, clinical claims, laboratory, public health orders and reports, among others.
  • FHIR stands for Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources. FHIR combines the standards currently in use (HL7 version 2, version 3 and CDA) with modern web standards so that the implementation of interoperability standards is improved as much as possible. FHIR starts from the fundamental concept of Resources, where a resource is the basic unit of interoperability, the smallest unit that makes sense to exchange. The resources are representations of concepts from the healthcare world: patient, doctor, health problem, observation...
